An intimate gathering of women in a safe + inspiring space. This is your moment to pause, breathe, restore + reflect.
WHAT DOES THE DAY LOOK LIKE
Our Anak's Mini Restorative Retreat will be an afternoon filled with fun, music, local vendors, mindful movement, guided meditation, soothing sound bath and of course, delicious food.
**Please remember to bring your own yoga mat
**Provincial Health Orders will be observed for this event, please check back for the latest updates, or email us with any specific questions. Thank you
THE KICKOFF
We'll be moving to good beats + a dance-filled sweat session led by Formation Studio. No you don't need to be a professional dancer by any means, you just have to be ready to have fun, enjoy some laughs + move to good music.
MINDFUL MOVEMENT
Then we'll be guided in mindful movement. What does that mean? The ladies from the House of A La Ligne will offer movement for all Humans to experience movement in a way that honours and celebrates their own unique journey. They'll transform the way you connect to your body and self through Pilates, Strength, and Pre & Post-Natal training.
GUIDED MEDITATION
We'll then get to slow down our afternoon, and be led in guided meditation. This will give us time to pause, breathe and reflect in a peaceful and safe space. We are excited to be led by Dora Kamau, for a grounding + inspiring practice.
SOUND BATH + YIN YOGA
We will close our afternoon together with slow + mindful Yin Yoga with Christine Wu + a soothing Sound Bath with RE By Barb, for a double dose of good vibes. If you haven't enjoyed a Sound Bath yet, you're in for a relaxing treat. Rhythmic sounds are created with crystal bowls to offer a relaxing practice for beautiful sound + space for energy healing. The end result is moving stagnant energy, feeling a weight has been lifted off your shoulders + gaining a sense of renewal.
